🎓 Educational Qualification

  • For Army Wing of NDA:
    12th Class pass (10+2 pattern) from a recognized board or university.

  • For Air Force, Navy Wings of NDA & Naval Academy:
    12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized board.


🎯 Age Limit

  • Candidates must be born between 01 January 2007 and 01 January 2010 (both dates inclusive).

  • Approximate age range: 16.5 to 19.5 years

  • Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible.


💵 Application Fee

  • General/OBC Candidates: ₹100/-

  • SC/ST/Female Candidates: No Fee

🛡️ Selection Process

The UPSC NDA selection process includes two stages:

1. Written Examination

  • Mathematics: 300 Marks

  • General Ability Test (GAT): 600 Marks

  • Total: 900 Marks

  • Type: Objective (Multiple Choice)

2. SSB Interview

  • Intelligence and Personality Tests

  • Total: 900 Marks

Candidates who clear both the written exam and SSB interview are eligible for final selection.


📄 Admit Card

  • Admit cards will be released a few weeks before the exam on the official UPSC website.

  • Candidates must download and print their admit card to appear in the examination.


📢 UPSC NDA Eligibility: Nationality

Candidates must be:

  • Indian citizens, or

  • Subjects of Nepal/Bhutan, or

  • Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962, intending to settle permanently, or

  • Persons of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries (including Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam) with the intent of settling in India permanently.
